NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme present in every cell of the body, essential for mitochondrial energy production, DNA repair and sirtuin-mediated cellular signaling. NAD+ levels decline steadily with age — a decline associated with fatigue, cognitive slowing and reduced metabolic efficiency. At THEIA in Stone Oak, our NAD+ therapy program in San Antonio is a medically prescribed longevity protocol, not a walk-in drip. Our Texas-licensed Medical Director reviews every patient, and Registered Nurses deliver the infusion in a private, unhurried suite where NAD+ is titrated slowly to minimize the well-known flushing and chest tightness that occur with fast-drip protocols. Loading series is typically four to ten infusions over two to four weeks, followed by maintenance dosing. Protocols are designed by our founding protocol lead, trained and experienced in regenerative aesthetic medicine in Mexico, and prescribed for Texas delivery by the Medical Director.

How much does NAD+ therapy cost in San Antonio?

What does NAD+ feel like?
Fast infusions can cause chest tightness, flushing and nausea — which is why we titrate slowly. Most THEIA patients report only mild warmth or transient pressure that resolves when the pace is adjusted.
How long does a session take?
2–4 hours for a full IV. Subcutaneous injections take minutes and are used for maintenance between IVs.
Is NAD+ FDA-approved?
NAD+ is not FDA-approved as a drug. It is compounded by a licensed compounding pharmacy and prescribed by our Medical Director on an individualized basis. We disclose this at consultation.
Who is not a candidate?
Pregnancy, active malignancy, severe cardiac or renal disease, and certain medications may be contraindications. All patients are screened by our Medical Director before dosing.
How is NAD+ different from NAD+ precursors like NMN or NR?
Oral precursors (NMN, NR) rely on conversion and absorption. IV NAD+ delivers the cofactor directly. Many patients use both under medical guidance.
